Body piercing in private parts
In the Bible piercing was a symbol of servanthood, or slavery. Exodus 21:6: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever. Deuteronomy 15:17: Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise. When a servant or slave wanted to stay with their master they would be pierced as a symbol of devotion to their master. Many of them had been with their master for so many years they had no place else to go. Their master would have them pierced as a sign that they now owned this servant (or slave) forever. When a person is in sexual slavery many times they unwittingly pierce certain parts of their body. They in essence become a slave (physically and spiritually) to the sin they are committing using those body parts. Many people today, including many young people, commit fornication and are (in some cases subconsciously) piercing their private parts as a sign of their sexual activity. What they do not realize is that due to this sexual activity their piercing has become a spiritual sign to Satan of the sexual bondage they are in. Whatever part they have pierced can actually become a slave or servant to Satan’s sexual suggestions and temptations – and their body piercings reinforce his hold on them. If you are in bondage with the part of your body that you have pierced and you desire to be free from this bondage you should remove this jewelry or spiritual symbolization – praying that God will help you receive freedom from this bondage. Do not enhance this bondage by piercing the private parts of your body. Some people even have their tongues pierced and are in bondage to oral and sexual promiscuity. A tongue ring can also symbolize bondage to cursing, overeating, gossiping, or anything else that may have the person in bondage through their mouth. Please pray and ask the Lord about the parts of your body you have pierced. If you are in sexual bondage using these parts then remove this jewelry because it has now become a sexual symbol. For those of you who do not desire to be free from this bondage you must remember that the servant or slave in Exodus and Deuteronomy was a slave forever. Don’t help Satan hold you in bondage which could destroy your life forever. Do everything you can to be free from the bondage of fornication and sexual promiscuity – even if it includes something simple like removing a piece of jewelry.
Another important comment about body piercing: Some of our young people are participating in body piercing and methods of self-torture. They are being introduced to a ritualistic method of self-torture which is intended to induce an out of body experience. Certain tribes used this same method as part of their ritual beliefs and practices. Today our young people are using self-torture to try and achieve some sort of spiritual experience, not realizing that Satan is the one behind the experience. In an effort to separate themselves from their own body they are hanging from meat hooks until the pain becomes so excruciating it actually causes them to spiritually separate from their body and from all knowledge of their pain (a form of mind over matter). It is very sad when our children are facing so much emotional pain that they would turn to self-torture as a means of trying to rise above it. They are turning to everything but God; while many parents sit idle as Satan destroys them. There are even websites promoting this, and other methods of self-torture, instructing them how to do it. Parents, we had better wake up! Our young people are living in a very dangerous time and we are leaving them to face it Spiritually unprepared. Oh God, please help our young people! Deuteronomy 5:29: O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! John 17:15: I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
