Another of man’s traditions which is promoting un-Godly order in the family can be found through mother/child worship – a pagan practice that the Roman Catholic Church practices and promotes. Their idols prove it! The woman is not only taking man’s place in the home, but also in the house of God. Mary is revered over Jesus, which is an abomination! Families are in a moral decline, and many churches – along with our nation – are promoting this moral decline. Disorder in the family can, and will, lead many children to create unnatural and unholy cords in their life as they grow older. Family is the most important thing we have on this earth. We must raise our children in the Biblical order that God has created, and teach them to follow this Godly order. If we do not teach our children the world will. The feminist movement and the evil spirits inspiring it are doing their best to tear down the family unit. An un-Godly family order is being taught to our children through the school system, through television, and God forbid through the Church. It is time for true Christian families to take a stand to restore the Godly order in American homes. As Christians we can begin by Spiritually cleaning our own homes, and restoring our own family order – putting God first, then man, then woman, then children. We must make our homes and our lives a place where God’s Spirit will want to dwell – making Him (God) the head of our household. We must, without delay, get rid of everything in our home that is an abomination to God. Deuteronomy 7:26: Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. Starting with the true church, we must get back to (and live by) the Biblical standards set forth for us by God.
Today, in many families, instead of the father being the head of the household the mother is taking the father’s position – and the result is an unnatural tie (false umbilical cord) between the mother and child/children. Ezekiel 16:4: And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all. When a family is out of Biblical order unnatural and unholy cords are created. Mothers and fathers have unnatural cords with their children, allowing them to come between their marriage relationship (causing division between mother and father). When the child grows both they and their parents have trouble letting go of each other because of the unnatural cord that is between them. The Bible specifically tells us in Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5; Mark 10:7; and Ephesians 5:31 that when children are grown they are supposed to cleave to their spouse – not to their parents. Genesis 2:24: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Matthew 19:5: And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Mark 10:7: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife. If parents and children do not sever unnatural cords neither will be able to have a natural Godly relationship – the way God intended – with their spouse. A prayer to sever any unnatural cord can be found at the end of this document. Psalm 2:3: Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. The Hebrew word for ‘cords’ in Psalm 2:3 is “aboth, ab-oth’; or Abowth, ab-oth’; or abothah, ab-oth-aw’; something intwined, i.e. a string, wreath or foliage, band, cord, rope, thick bough (branch), wreathen (chain)”. Though not usually sexual, unnatural cords (if they are not severed) can develop into sexually impure thoughts and actions. Unnatural cords can lead to impure sexual thoughts towards others, or family members. Note: Unnatural or unholy cords are leading families towards disaster. One of these disasters is called ‘same sex marriage’. If our nation continues to allow this evil door to stay open then what will stop future legalization of other evil things like multiple partner marriage, or even marriage between parent and sibling – God forbid. We must pray that Godly order will return to American families and stop disaster at its root! Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.
If you have any type of unnatural tie with your child or parent (whether mother or father) please say the following prayer. Remember, an unholy or unnatural cord does not have to be a sexual relationship it can be any destructive emotional tie!
Please pray:
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I give you the people and/or evil things that I have allowed into my life; including any evil familiar spirits connected to me through unnatural family ties [especially an unnatural tie with my mother, or father]. I know your word says we are to cleave to our spouses and not our parents because it is an unnatural order. I ask you to break any unnatural order I have with my family (with my mother, father, or my child) and remove any and all evil familiar spirits that would try to keep this unnatural connection going – I command every evil thing (whether person or spirit) to leave me alone and never return to me again or to any other member of my family. I ask you to forgive me and to remove any evil affect this has had on my life and/or the life of the children involved (even if I was that child). I ask you to destroy, and sever, every unholy and unnatural cord (or false umbilical cord) I have ever had or allowed into my life…or into the lives of my children. I ask you to remove every sin (and unclean spirit) that has oppressed our soul due to evil cords. I command every evil thought (and evil spirit) that has afflicted, influenced, or tormented my thoughts and life to leave in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I ask you Lord Jesus to cleanse and deliver me from everything in my life that has separated me from you. I give you every temptation, bondage, and sin that I have ever accepted or committed through unnatural or unholy cords and I ask you to take it all away. From this day forward, every unholy or unnatural cord of my past (or present) is severed and destroyed – never to be used by the devil to hold me (or my family members) in bondage again. Lord Jesus, I ask you to remove every spiritually evil doorway that Satan or any of his evil spirits have ever had in my mind and life. I thank you Lord because by faith I know you have heard my confessions, and have forgiven me, and have cleansed me from all unrighteousness. I John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. From this day forward I ask that you would give me every good thing you have ever desired for my life and my family; including hope, joy, peace, and love. Romans 15:13: Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 26:3: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Ephesians 4:23: And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Psalm 119:165: Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
(Note: In order to completely sever these cords you may need to get rid of some things that the person(s) you had an unholy or unnatural relationship with gave to you, such as: pictures, letters, cards, clothing, jewelry, trinkets, and especially religious décor, etc. Let the Lord lead you!)
***Extra Note: We should not have statues of Mary (or any statues of reverence for that matter). This includes a nativity scene. Jesus was not a baby when the wise men brought him their gifts. He was nearly 2 yrs. old. Having idols and images of reverence will cause an un-Godly tie in families – especially the mother and child images!
We are to honor our parents – and to do this there must be a Godly order! Exodus 20:12: Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
