Once Saved Always Saved is false doctrine

In Hebrew we find listed under
‘soul’ the word “will”. The Hebrew word for ‘soul’ in the Old Testament is “nephesh, neh’-fesh; …sense… appetite… breath… desire… greedy…
heart… life… lust… mind… pleasure… will”. The
Greek word for ‘soul’ in the New
Testament is “psuche, psoo-khay’; …breath… heart… mind”. The Greek terms “exactly correspond
respectively” to the Hebrew. Our will
is part of our soul – and our will is not removed from us when we get
saved. As long as we have a ‘will’ we
have a choice to follow God, or not. I Timothy 4:1: NOW the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in
the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to
seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Exodus 32:33: And the Lord said
unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book. Those who have been saved can be blotted
out of God’s book! II
Peter 2:21-22: For it had better for
them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known
it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the
true proverb, THE DOG IS TURNED TO HIS OWN VOMIT AGAIN; AND THE SOW THAT
WAS WASHED TO HER WALLOWING IN THE MIRE. The Greek word for ‘turn’ in II Peter 2:21 is “epistrepho,
ep-ee-stref’-o; to revert (lit., fig. or mor.): come (go) again, convert,
(re-)turn (about, again)”.
What about the
following scripture it says if the branch is cut off God is able to graff them
in again! Romans 11:22-24: Behold
therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but
toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also
shalt be cut off. And they also, if they abide not still
in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for
God is able to graff them in again. For if thou wert cut out of the olive
tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good
olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed
into their own olive tree? It
is important to note here that there is still hope for those who have fallen
away. God can and will restore them!
If it were not possible for us to fall away from God
then God would never have warned us that we could. Once saved always saved is a false
doctrine. Still not convinced? I will share a scripture with you, along with
its Greek meaning. This scripture shows
us that it is possible for someone who loves the Lord to fall away from Him;
and then come back to Him. What
scriptures calls “converted”. Luke
12:32: But I have prayed for thee, that
thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy
brethren. The Greek word for ‘converted’ in Luke 12:32 is “epistrepho,
ep-ee-stref’-o; to revert (lit., fig. or mor.): - come (go) again, convert,
(re-) turn (about, again)”. This is
a scriptural example of a person whom we know was saved, but whom Jesus told
that when he converted (came again; returned) to Him to strengthen his
brethren. Jesus knew he would fall away
from Him for a time. Jesus was talking
in this scripture to Simon Peter! Who
denied the Lord three times – but returned to his faith in the Lord to become
one of the greatest apostles in Bible history!
Some still may say well what about the following scripture in Hebrew 6:4-6: For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. First of all that scripture shows us they can be saved and then fall away! As for the scripture saying it would be impossible to renew them again we must remember the following scripture that with God all things are possible! Mark 10:26-27: And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
