Scripture shows us that Satan entered Judas before Judas committed the physical act of betrayal. Luke 22:3: Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. John 13:26-27: Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly. Some believe that it was not actually Satan who entered Judas but that is not what scripture says. Scripture says it was Satan. The Greek word for ‘Satan’ in Luke 22:3 and John 13:27 is “Satanas, sat-an-as; …accuser, i.e. the devil – Satan”. The Greek word for ‘entered’ in Luke 22:3 and John 13:27 is “eiserchomai, ice-er’-khom-ahee; …to enter (lit. or fig.)… arise, come (in, into), enter in (-to), go in through”. Luke 22:3 and John 13:27 refer to Satan himself. Extra note: Scripture calls Satan’s helpers devils. The Greek meaning for devils in New Testament scripture is “Daimonizomai, da-hee-mon-id’-zom-ahee; …mid. voice… to be exercised by a demon;- have a (be vexed with, be possessed with) devil(-s)”. “Daimonion, dahee-mon’-ee-on; …demonic being; by extens. a deity:- devil, god”. The small g is referring to a false god. “Daimoniodes, da-hee-mon-ee-o’-dace; …demon-like:- devilish”. “Daimon, dah’-ee-mown; from daio (to distribute small fortunes); a demon or supernatural spirit (of a bad nature):- devil”.
In both Luke 22:3 and John 13:27 scripture tells us that Satan entered Judas before the actual act of betrayal, while it was only a thought in Judas’ mind. This same evil influence is what entered into the mind of the kids just prior to their committing the school shootings – and just as Judas, they afterwards took their own life. Some people who survived the shootings said when they saw the eyes of the kids who committed these horrible acts that their eyes were glazed over and they looked as if they were in a daze. I understand that many of the children who committed these crimes were on some type of drugs. However, one must ask why they were on drugs in the first place? A key answer to this question is: video games and music! Many kids are consumed with video games and cannot sit still when they are not playing them. Instead of removing video games, or music, from their home many parents are giving their children prescription drugs in an effort to calm them. Some parents have realized that the drugs were not the answer; however, many realized it too late. Most of the video games and music our children are playing are straight from the devil’s den. Evil spiritual influence associated with video games and music is the real driving force behind the tragic shooting incidents (medication only clouded their mind and helped it along). Prior to video games most kids had angry thoughts come to their mind (of what they would like to do) but they would not put the thoughts into practice. With the help of these shooting video games, and the music in the background of these games; combined with realistic sounds of screaming (when the bullets hit the target) and the action of the controls, Satan can cover many areas of a child’s mind at the same time (sight, hearing, and hands on participation). When the kids who did the school shootings were daily picked on by their classmates they would go home put in a video game and pretend it was their classmates they were shooting. Playing the game(s) regularly allowed Satan to increase their anger. The evil visual pictures, along with the music and sounds of screaming, placed evil subliminal messages into their mind. Satan used these evil messages to destroy them, and many other innocent people. When they could no longer take the teasing from the other kids they made up their mind to do something about it – and then Satan’s influence took over. After arriving at school their mind started to replay the music they had been listening to – the music Satan had been brainwashing them with. With their mind being clouded by evil influence, the children then began to play the game. Only this time it was not a game, it was real. Satan had been influencing (or programming) their mind all along. They were doing to their classmates what they had repeatedly done on the video games. They were in reality committing a horrible act of violence but their mind was still on the game.
When a person allows Satan to affect them through evil things (i.e. videos, music, movies, etc) they fall victim to the influence of evil spirits. The mind of the person who is under evil influence does not operate in reality, but operates in an evil spiritual realm. This is what happens to many people who commit a horrible act. They have fallen under such evil influence that many times they do not realize what they did; or if they do remember, they say they felt like it was not them doing it. That is because the evil spirit had taken over! When a person allows them self, or parents allow their kids, to fill their mind with things that are inspired by evil spirits it will produce dangerous results. Anyone who repeatedly allows evil (or non-reality) into their mind will eventually not know what is real and what is not (especially children). The same can be said for fantasy. Example: when a person looks at pornography and begins to fantasize about it over and over – Satan enters. Once Satan has a person’s mind operating in fantasy and non-reality he then entices them to act out the fantasies. The person can no longer control their thoughts or actions and many will even hurt other people in an effort to fulfill the evil desires Satan has given them. Some will turn to prescription drugs thinking this will stop the evil thoughts, but for many the thoughts just get worse. They do not realize that they are under evil bondage and that pills only reinforce this bondage. By then when they try to quit taking the drugs the attack intensifies. They need to try the gospel pill. Jesus Christ is the only answer to any of the problems they may face in this world! John 16:33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
If you have been struggling and until now did not fully understand (or believe) that viewing video games, pornography, etc. actually allowed Satan’s evil spirits to influence and oppress your mind then please say the following prayer. Saying the prayer let’s Satan know that you now understand the truth of how he has been deceiving you – and in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Satan will deceive you no longer! After saying the prayer, throw away the videos, music, pornography, and anything else the Lord leads you to!
Please pray:
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,I take authority over every evil spirit that I have allowed into my mind or mid-brain (even from childhood) through my eyes, ears, or mouth (this includes evil spirits associated with music, meditation, T.V., videos, computers, pornography, drugs and/or alcohol, etc.). I give Jesus Christ complete authority over my heart, my mind, and my thoughts. I ask you to gird up the loins of my mind. I Peter 1:13: Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Please cleanse the conscious, unconscious, and subconscious areas of my mind (setting me free from all anger and un-forgiveness; and from all fantasy pictures, or times of blackout and trance-like states of mind). I give everything in my life to you Lord Jesus. I ask you to renew my mind and cover every area of my mind and soul with your precious blood. I ask you to please do the same for my children. Cleanse their mind (including their mid-brain) from all evil influence, and please forgive me for allowing my children to put unclean things into their eyes and ears. I ask you to remove all evil spirits and all evil suggestions from our minds and to keep our minds and our lives free from every evil device. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, my generation and every future generation of my family are forever free from every evil assignment directed towards us (due to our own disobedience, or the disobedience of our forefathers). Nehemiah 1:6-7: …both I and my father's house have sinned. We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses. Nehemiah 9:2: And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers. I have confessed my sins and the iniquities of my forefathers and I now ask that you would heal my family members (present and future) from any mental or physical illness that may have been caused by evil spirits. Thank you Lord for answering my prayer, in Jesus’ name! Amen.
