Narcissism, witchcraft, and the last days
Scripture warns that in these last days perilous times will come; however, there are some people in the church who ignore this scriptural warning, pretending that everything is alright. They use a Mr. Rogers approach to an Ozzie Osborne society – but it is not a beautiful day in the neighborhood! II Timothy 3:1-7: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Jude 17-19: But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
Problems seen in these last days are the physical reality of a spiritual landslide that has been going on since the beginning of time. Many of God’s people believe if they just ignore this landslide they will not have to deal with it, that somehow it will just go away. But, the truth is that we must deal with it because we are partly to blame for it. The time has come for Christians to learn and follow God’s truth. We must clean up our own spotted garments, by learning and practicing the truth of God’s Word, or we will never be able to help others. Jude 17-23: But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. There be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Studying scripture we find that many of the problems people face today are a result of the following: Romans 1:20-32: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.
The sinful behavioral patterns (underlined previously) in both Romans 1:20-32 and II Timothy 3:1-7 are nearly identical in comparison. Bringing us to one conclusion; the sinful behavior in both sections of scripture share the same root cause. Romans 1:23 reveals that root cause – we have “changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things”. Making images of the uncorruptible Godhead (of whom Jesus is a part) and fashioning these images after corruptible flesh will lead to sinful and corrupt behavior, including homosexuality as scripture reveals. Trying to bring God’s glory to a fleshy level through vanity of the mind is the root. Galatians 6:8: For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. Today what people are doing and seeing is the same sinful, fleshly, and corrupt behavior that is spoken of in scripture in Romans Chapter 1. It says that though they knew God they became vain in their imaginations. Today we profess to know God, but as in Romans we too have become vain in our imaginations and have changed the glory of the God into images! Christians, we are without excuse! Romans 1:20-23: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Colossians 2:8-9: Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Acts 17:29-30: For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver or stone, graven by art and man’s device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.
In Romans Chapter 1 their foolish hearts and vain imaginations led to their sinful behavioral patterns; and be assured that foolish and vain imaginations are still leading to the sinful behavioral patterns seen today in these last days, as stated in II Timothy Chapter 3:1-5: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
By breaking down both Romans Chapter 1 and II Timothy Chapter 3 into separate columns we are able to compare them. As you see in each column the sinful behavioral patterns are the same. Why? Because they share the same root cause!

[Just as the people in Romans]today in these last days we too have become foolish and vain – and our vain images and idols prove it! Today the world sees no difference between our lives and their own. God’s people have been following the same foolish and vain imaginations as the unsaved – and we have brought our vanity and foolishness into the church – and this is why people are not being set free! Psalm 24:3-4: Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. II Kings 17:15-16: And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them. And they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal. II Chronicles 11:15 and 12:1: And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made. And it came to pass, when Rehoboam had established the kingdom, and had strengthened himself, he forsook the law of the Lord, and all Israel with him. Isaiah 44:9: They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed. Habakkuk 2:18: What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? Jeremiah 9:14: But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them. Jeremiah 10:14-15: Every man is brutish in his knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them. They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish. I Peter 1:18: Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers. II Kings 17:15, 33, 41: And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them concerning whom the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them. They feared the Lord, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. So these nations feared the Lord, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children’s children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day. As you can clearly see from scripture vanity and idolatry do go hand in hand!
Idolatry is the most deceptive form of vanity – and it is still the main (root) cause for many of the sinful behavioral patterns we see today. However, in this document I will not only be emphasizing the idolatry in the Church but will be addressing the spiritually dangerous and sinful results of following after any form of vanity. If you look at the following scripture in II Timothy you see that vanity is very prevalent in our society in these last days – just as scripture says it will be. II Timothy 3:1-2: THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves… Vanity is self importance – and in essence means being a lover of one’s own self. Note: It is interesting that today a dressing table and mirror is even referred to as a vanity!
In this document I will elaborate on the particular form of vanity found in II Timothy 3:2, which is in actuality self-idolatry. Though this is only one behavior among many mentioned in II Timothy Chapter 3 this one in particular is very important! In the world today psychiatrists would label this form of vanity as ‘narcissism’. If you look in the dictionary Thesaurus you will find that narcissism is another word for vanity!
A comment concerning psychiatry: In this teaching I am not promoting the field of psychiatry. Psychiatrists do not deal with the spiritual root of a person’s problem(s) but only deal with the physical manifestation(s). Every physical act has a spiritual beginning and it is the spiritual that I deal with in this document. If the spiritual root is not dealt with then the physical problem(s) will continue – if not in the generation of the one who is seeking help then in their generations to follow! What the psychiatric world, and the world in general, does not understand is that God has already warned us in II Timothy 3:2 about the particular behavior known to the world today as narcissism. Scripture also tells us its root is idolatry! As confirmed by the scriptural breakdown of Romans Chapter 1 and II Timothy Chapter 3 at the beginning of this teaching. Our conclusion! Jesus Christ is the only answer to this or any other problem a person may have! It is not wrong to seek help, but we must make sure that the person who is helping us deals with the Spiritual side as well as the physical – using only God’s Word as their Spiritual guide, not false spiritual methods and techniques.
The meaning of narcissism sheds some light on the vanity which is behind all narcissistic behavior. This particular form of vanity derived its name from the mythological character ‘Narcissus’ who lusted after his own image. The American Heritage Dictionary (Second College Edition) © 1982 Houghton Mifflin Company, page 830, definition for ‘Narcissus’: “A youth who pined away in love for his own image in a pool of water”. The pool of water acted as a mirror for his own self-adoration – vanity, or self-idolatry.
Though myths are not real the evil spirits that influence myths are very real, and this one in particular is extremely dangerous and widespread. Narcissism (a most dangerous form of vanity) is taught to children in school at a young age through our school systems mandatory teaching of mythology – a belief in false gods. See my document about ‘mythology’. Mythology, which includes the character Narcissus, is being taught to our young during their formative years. Myths are spiritually dangerous because they are influenced by evil spirits, and myths make a mockery of the Bible. Narcissism (self-idolatry) is running rampant in society today, not only in the world, but also in the church, when scripture plainly says in Exodus 20:3 and Deuteronomy 5:7, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”. In essence narcissistic behavior is an attempt to make a god of ones own self. II Timothy 3:1-2: THIS know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Satan’s main goal is to take our eyes off God, and he will use anything to try and accomplish his goal. He does not care if we idolize a religious icon made in man’s image, or if we idolize our own self, just as long as it gets our eyes off God. Satan and his evil spirits are the ones behind all forms of vanity. Satan tries to entice a person to have an unnatural love for them self. Many times unnatural love will include sexual bondage to masturbation. It is very hard for a person to love another of the opposite sex in a Holy way (as set forth in scripture) when they have an unnatural love for their own body, and are touching them self in a sexual manner. The dictionary definition for Narcissism includes erotic interest for one’s own body. The American Heritage Dictionary (Second College Edition) © 1982 Houghton Mifflin Company, page 830, defines ‘narcissism’ as: “1. Excessive love or admiration of oneself. 2. An arresting of development at or a regression to the infantile stage of development in which one’s own body is the object of erotic interest. Romans 6:12-13: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. I Thessalonians 4:4, 7: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. I Corinthians 6:19-20: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Many times life’s challenges can cause people (especially children and adolescents) to feel as if circumstances are out of their control, so they subconsciously turn to sexual self-pleasure as their way of escape, or to feel a sense of control, or release. What they do not realize is that their sexual self-pleasure leaves them with a false sense of security and opens them up spiritually to the evil spirits that influence narcissism (vanity).
The public school system is doing its part to promote narcissistic behavior and sexual activity in a child’s life by teaching them self-exploration, and other sexual practices, in sex education class. Parents, we need to be aware of the practices our children are leaning while in school! We must pray for our children every day, because what the school system does not teach them Satan and his evil spirits will, by enticing our children with sexual thoughts and trying to get them to practice these thoughts. Satan will even use the unclean spiritual décor in our homes as his doorway for success – unless we get it out!
A child’s mind is very important, and during their formative years they develop certain qualities and characteristics. Dependent on the evil things they are exposed to some of their qualities and characteristics can become extremely bad. Satan knows that if he can infiltrate a child’s thoughts at a young age it will be hard for the child to overcome this evil thought pattern when they are older. It is important for us to know that just because a child, or adult, thinks a bad thought it does not mean that this thought originated in their mind, its influence was directed by Satan. The thought does not become their own until they act it out! Around the age of puberty children begin to display adult mannerisms. These mannerisms are shaped by what they saw, and heard, as a child. What they were exposed to (good or bad) is stored in the child-like portion of their mind. This is why it is so important for parents to train up a child in the way they should go. Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. We must train our children, using God’s Word, to cast down all evil imaginations from their mind and soul. Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. II Corinthians 10:5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. I Peter 2:11: Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.
Many Christian parents are not training up their children in the way they should go but are allowing evil to be channeled into their home. Children’s programming, games, and other forms of media have become a medium for evil spiritual influence. One way narcissism (vanity) is being introduced to our children is through fairy tales. Another example is the fairy tale Snow White. Snow White exemplifies the spirit behind narcissism. This fairy tale has a witch who speaks into a mirror asking it to tell her that she is more beautiful than anyone else (vanity). You may be interested to know that in Lilith cults mirrors are considered to be a spiritual gateway for the evil spirit(s) associated with Lilith – who is a succubus (sexual) spirit. See my document on ‘Lilith and Vampirism’. In Snow White an image, or spirit, appears in the mirror and tells the witch that there is another one fairer (more beautiful) than she, named Snow White. This promotes a spirit of jealousy, hatred, and competition in the witch as she asks the mirror to tell her how to find Snow White. Using a mirror to receive information is witchcraft; also referred to as scrying, or mirror divination. Because of the witch’s jealousy she drugs Snow White with an apple and puts her to sleep (a form of narcolepsy). This fairy tale is spiritually loaded with evil subliminal messages, yet it is one of the many children’s classics still popular today among children and adults. These evil messages in Snow White are inspired by the evil spirits of witchcraft and narcissism (vanity). And because it is the witch who is being portrayed as evil and not Snow White, this does not mean our children are not being negatively affected by this and other fairy tales. In Snow White alone they are being introduced at a very young age to evil spirits they otherwise might not have been introduced to – evil spirits of fear, jealously, witchcraft, anger, and narcissism. Which is being stored in their subconscious!
Additional comment: A person may suffer from narcolepsy because they have unknowingly allowed the evil spirits associated with narcissism into their life (possibly through fairy tales, self-vanity, illegal narcotics, etc.). On the other hand narcolepsy could just be a medical condition. However, everything physical starts out spiritual whether good or bad – after all we are not only physical beings, but also spiritual. We must not rule out the negative spiritual things that may have brought this medical condition into one’s life in the first place. The only way it could be completely ruled out would be to pray and ask God’s forgiveness for opening any doors that may have allowed narcolepsy into one’s life, and then ask God to heal them from all its physical affects. In the case of self-vanity – and its possible contribution to narcolepsy – one should ask God to set them free from any evil spirits associated with narcissism, and to heal them from any affects this may have had on them; especially their self adoration. If prayer does not stop the symptoms (manifestations) of narcolepsy then one should seek medical help. Prayer is the thing that we should always try first, but unfortunately it is the thing that many of us try last!
The fairy tale known as Snow White is a spiritual mirror of narcissism (vanity). This story teaches our children divination through mirrors (or scrying). The witch in Snow White teaches our children to communicate with spirits using a mirror. This witch even promotes the use of narcotics (to induce sleep), bringing harm to Snow White. It promotes jealousy, trickery, anger, hatred, witchcraft, drugs, and even murder. The witch uses the drug because her goal for sleeping beauty is eternal sleep, or murder. What message does this fairy tale, and other fairy tales or bedtime stories, really give to our children? How much garbage is really being put in a child’s mind through this and our other traditional children’s stories – with the excuse, ‘but it has a happy ending’? Believing it is alright to use a witch as a teaching tool for children is a deceptive method. Through this deceptive teaching method children are being taught that some witches can be good. However, there are no good witches! Look at the following scripture and see what it says about witches. It shows what was done (in the Old Testament) to what we now view as a teaching tool, or just entertainment. Exodus 22:18: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Leviticus 20:27: A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them. Traditional children’s stories have been a stepping stone to the full blown witchcraft we see today in children and adolescent programs. These traditional fairy tales have catapulted our children into an evil spiritual realm. In the Bible the book of Nahum tells us that God dealt so harshly with Ninevah because of their witchcraft that he sent Nahum to proclaim their utter destruction. Their city would be destroyed without a trace because of their witchcraft. In fact the Bible called Ninevah “the mistress of witchcrafts” (Nahum 3:4). Ninevah had been previously warned by Jonah to repent, which they did; however, they later went back to practicing their witchcraft, and 100 years later Nahum prophesied against them – the prophesy was their total destruction. If God would destroy an entire city due to their witchcraft are we ignorant enough to believe that God would let us continue to use witchcraft as a form of entertainment (or as a teaching tool) for our children? We even cover our children’s rooms with decoration fashioned after the characters in these witchcraft stories, and then wonder why they are having trouble sleeping and are full of fear. We fill our children full of witchcraft and fairy tales and then fill them full of prescription medication to combat what the fairy tales have done to their subconscious mind. We are running in circles!
Satan is using every means available to him, including children’s programs, to destroy the mind of our children. Many parents, without realizing, are allowing (or inviting) Satan and his evil spirits into their home – calling it entertainment. Sadly, it is the Christian parents who have been the most blind to Satan’s devices. Isaiah 42:18-20: Hear, ye deaf, and look, ye blind, that ye may see. Who is blind, but my servant? Or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. Jeremiah 5:21: Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not. Many Christians sit idly by and allow Satan to charm their children through fairy tales. Satan is alluring their children right into witchcraft, and many think it is only make believe. Pretending to be a witch; or trying to conjure up a witch with a spell is not a game. Again, if you read Exodus 22:18 and Leviticus 20:27 you will see that God did not consider it a game! Exodus 22:18: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Leviticus 20:27: A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them. Some children and young people have even tried staring into a mirror and chanting in an attempt to make contact with, for instance, the Bell witch. The Bell witch is nothing more than a succubus spirit. The succubus and incubus are evil sexual spirits that can even leave scratches on people – and this is the same thing that has happened to some who have used a mirror in an attempt to try and conjure up the Bell witch. In witchcraft this is called scrying (mirror divination). If you have tried this as a child (or adult), even if you did not see anything, you should repent for opening this door of witchcraft in your life. Note: If you did try this, or any other form of witchcraft, God will forgive you if you ask Him. The scripture given in Exodus 22:18 and Leviticus 20:27 was intended only to show you the seriousness of such practices. It does not mean that your life should be taken. Jesus Christ gave His life so you would not have to!
Our children are being enticed by Satan and his evil spirits to play around with ouija boards, hold séances, practice levitation, etc (all very popular at slumber parties). Note: Levitation is done through evil spirits who are lifting the person off the ground! People need to beware what they are practicing. Our children are getting information on different witchcraft methods through movies, books, videos, computers, and even other children, and adults. Witchcraft practices, and wives tales, have been passed down from generation to generation. I Timothy 4:7: But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. Many who have tried these witchcraft practices as children are now being spiritually attacked as adults. They suffer the evil spiritual consequences of what they participated in as a child. For some the consequences came while they were yet still young and did not wait until they became older. Either way they are suffering. There are prayers in my document of ‘things to remove from our homes and churches’!
There is no such thing as innocent witchcraft! Even when packaged to look innocent it is not. The end result of watching or participating in any form of witchcraft is spiritual bondage to evil spirits; including the evil sexual spirits incubus and succubus. With the popular fairy tale Snow White we see what looks like an innocent kiss – or is it? Since this fairy tale is soaked in witchcraft we know that the actual inspiration behind the show comes from evil spirits. So what about the kiss? In Snow White the prince restores her to consciousness with an alluring fleshly kiss. To many this may seem innocent, but due to all the witchcraft this fairy tale contains the kiss has negative spiritual meaning and impact. Watching any program that contains a potent combination of narcissism, jealousy, mirror divination, and all the other witchcraft that this program possesses – and its only cure is a fleshly kiss! This program invites evil and sexually evil spirits into the life of whoever watches it, including the children this program was designed for. Any person who has been visited by the evil incubus and succubus sexual spirit can tell you that while they were in a state of sleep they were kissed, or even felt sexually fondled. The same evil spirits behind the fairy tale Snow White are placing less than innocent subliminal messages in the minds of our children. If a child were awakened from sleep with a kiss (or a sexual touch) by a succubus or incubus spirit disguising itself as a character they saw in a fairy tale they would think it was alright. Incubus and succubus spirits have appeared to people, yes even children, disguised as a person they idolized, or to whom they had an attraction. How many children are being led today into evil fantasies because of exposure to fairy tales, myths, videos, or music? To a child, exposure to witchcraft is the beginning of bondage. It is a spiritual bondage that will continue with them into their adult life. Because children and adults are being exposed to so much witchcraft, evil spirits (the sexual spirits incubus and succubus) are visiting them in their sleep. It is especially dangerous for anyone to watch movies on vampirism, because any time blood is combined with sexual content you are watching what is really practiced in witchcraft rituals. This opens a door for evil visitation from the very powerful succubus and incubus sexual spirits, the kind that can actually put cuts and bruises on a person’s body during a visitation. Until people know the truth of how this bondage attached itself to them many will continue to be visited even after they become Christians. Many times we are unaware that we have items in our homes inviting evil visitation. As Christians, we must ask the Lord for discernment to know what we should not do, or have, so that our walk with the Lord will not suffer! Most of the fairy tale characters and even the word ‘fairy’ is listed in the dictionary thesaurus under ‘demons’. Even fairy tale ‘dwarfs’ are listed as demons, like the dwarfs in Snow White. When we, as parents, allowevil to entertain (and influence) our children then this evil is stored in their child-like mind – and it allows evil spirits to influence, or to become prevalent in their life as they become older. If we do not teach our children to flee the very appearance of evil then Satan and his evil spirits will try and entice them to commit the same sinful things they are seeing and hearing on television, videos, and in other forms of media. If we do not teach them to abstain from all evil while they are young our children will have difficulty overcoming evil as adults. I Thessalonians 5:22: Abstain from all appearance of evil. We must also teach them that many times evil can have an attractive, or even a religious appearance. II Corinthians 11:14: And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Pictures (and thoughts) of what children have seen, heard, or experienced start coming back to their mind when they are grown. To some it may come as a flashback. Perhaps a picture of some pornographic material they viewed, or were exposed to as a child. Including religious pornography as discussed in my document ‘pornography and religious pornography’. To others it may not be pornographic at all but may come to their mind in the form of a scary picture or thought of something they have seen or heard when they were very young. Whatever the case, scary thoughts or mental pictures have been subconsciously stored in their mind. These evil pictures – many of which have been stored in their mind since childhood – start to re-develop in their mind when they become adults. For some it may be years before these pictures, or thoughts, start to surface. Christians and non-Christians alike can come under this type of evil attack and not understand how or why it is happening. For the Christian, a lot of times it is simply because they have now become a Christian and Satan is trying to drag up old memories (memories they did not even know were there). Many times the Christian is unknowingly allowing the attack. When a Christian has or participates in things inspired by evil spirits it allows (and also triggers) evil attack. Many times after a person becomes a Christian they continue to participate in, have, or watch things they think are not real or bad. Such as: horror, sci-fi, soap operas, and other sexually graphic programs; and some are even practicing yoga. They watch and do the same things they were watching and doing before they became a Christian. Many do not understand the evil and lustful imaginations that inspire, or are behind, the things they are watching or participating in. They just continue doing and watching the same things they did and watched before they were saved, except now they are being attacked and do not understand why. Never considering these things as evil they think of them only as entertainment; or in the case of yoga, only as exercise. Whatever they participate in, the thoughts they are now having are not entertaining but are spiritually and physically exhausting. They do not know that because they are watching or doing things inspired by evil, and especially now that they are Christians, Satan is attacking their mind. After salvation, continuing to participate in things has triggered thoughts and pictures that have been stored in their subconscious. Now these thoughts and pictures are starting to play with their mind – of course under Satan’s direction. By watching or doing certain things, even the things they thought were not bad, they have allowed or connected an evil thought pattern in their life. Due to their own participation in watching Satan’s evil entertainment, Satan has now begun a cycle of evil thoughts in their mind that they cannot stop on their own. To many it may or may not be a thought pattern they had before they became Christians. All they know is that now they want to serve God but are being viciously attacked. A lot of times it is the Christian who is earnestly trying to seek after God that falls under Satan’s greatest attack. As Christians, many times it is our own participation that allows us to experience strong attack from Satan. For many it is an attack they may have never experienced before. But, they are in bondage to it and do not understand why. When they try and seek help from the church they are told (by those in spiritual authority) that now they are Christians and that Satan (or his things) cannot affect them this way – but the truth is – he can, especially when they have played on his playground! See my document on ‘Satan’s playground’. Many Christians continue to watch (have or participate) in the evil things of the world – not realizing that this is why they are in bondage. For some, perhaps they have not been watching or doing anything to bring on an attack, especially since they gave their life to the Lord, but they are still under attack. Thoughts of extreme fear, mind pictures, or thoughts of extreme lust have been coming to their mind and they do not understand why. It is possible that they have some sort of false spiritual decoration they need to get rid of. This decoration is the doorway Satan is using to bring thoughts that have been hidden in their subconscious, perhaps even since childhood – and now Satan is using it to his own advantage. Again, there are prayers in my document of ‘things to remove from our homes and churches’ that will help you! Though a person is a Christian they can still come under great attack in their mind. For one reason or another – the majority of the Christians who are attacked are participating in Satan’s things, and they do not realize it, but their participation has given Satan permission to attack them!
Many Christians (some old and some new) do not know the Bible. Instead of reading it they believe only what church leaders, and other Christians, are telling them. What is not being told in the church today is that we are going to be held accountable for what we watch or participate in – if we do not stop! I Peter 4:17: For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God. Ezekiel 9:6: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14: Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Just because a person is saved this does not give them a license to sin. Any Christian who listens to another Christian tell them it is alright to watch or do certain things (i.e. watch horror, sci-fi, or even participate in yoga, etc.) is making a big mistake. Whether the person telling them is a Christian leader or not, they still should not listen to them!
Many of our spiritual leaders are not teaching us (as Christians) how to separate ourselves from the things of the world. Instead they are teaching us to mix Satan’s worldly, and pagan things, in with our Christianity. Isaiah 9:16: For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed. We are not being taught that Christians can become spiritually oppressed for participating in, or for even having worldly and pagan items – when it is after salvation that we become spiritually responsible for our actions.
When we become Christians God will allow us time to learn His ways. By reading His Word (the Bible) we learn how to walk in God’s ways. When we begin growing in God’s Word we begin to wash the sinful thought patterns and memories of our past. Ephesians 5:26: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. But, Christians cannot watch and participate in sinful things and expect to overcome Satan in their daily life. Satan uses the sinful things of this world as a device to bring back old memories, and temptations – and even to try to re-connect generational patterns of iniquity in the person’s life. It is sad but our church leaders have not been teaching us this very important truth, and because of this, many Christians are in bondage and are oppressed. But, there is hope! God can and will teach us how to walk in all His truth. John 16:13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. God understands exactly what we are going through, as Christians, and His Word teaches us that we can escape from Satan’s evil temptations. I Corinthians 10:13: There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. It is our own lack of knowledge about the truth of God’s Word that is keeping us bound by evil spirits. Unfortunately, many of our Christian leaders are not teaching or leading us in God’s Word – but instead are teaching and leading us in man’s traditions – when it is only through God’s Word that we can find His Truth. II Chronicles 15:3-4: Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God and without a teaching priest, and without law. But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
God is patient and longsuffering towards us. II Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. As Christians, it is time for us to start reading, learning, and living God’s Word. Through scripture – which is God’s law – God reveals and teaches us His truth. What we are being taught from behind the pulpit by our spiritual leaders cannot be our only source of knowledge. It is our Spiritual duty, as Christians, to read our Bibles and search God’s truth for ourselves. If we do not know God’s Word we will take man’s teaching as the truth – and man can lead us astray. I John 2:26-27: These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. But the anointing which he have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. Although God has appointed spiritual leaders to teach us His Word we cannot just believe whatever they teach. We need to read and study the Bible ourselves in order to learn the truth of God’s Word. John 17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. We cannot be spiritually fed only on Wednesdays and Sundays and expect to learn God’s truth. To learn and walk in His truth we must read and pray every day. Joshua 1:8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success. Psalm 1:2: But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. It is not up to other Christians to lead us into all truth; it is only the Holy Spirit who teaches us all truth. John 16:13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. In order to walk in God’s truth (as Christians) we cannot just become comfortable sinning, and keep claiming grace. When it is God’s grace that teaches us how we should be living. Titus 2:11-12: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
It is the Christians that Satan desires to lead astray. When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior; Satan intensifies his attack (or enticement) against them. Christians must realize that sin is sin, no matter who is doing it! Any Christian who does not heed scriptural warning, but thinks it is safe for them to have or do whatever they please is heading for spiritual disaster. Satan will put forth every effort to draw, and entice, them away from the Lord. Due to our lack of knowledge about God’s Word we continue to practice un-Godly things and to keep unclean items in our homes and our churches. This is allowing our walk with the Lord to be hindered. II Corinthians 6:17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. Unclean items encourage evil visitation, and allow enticement to repeat past sins.
Christians are sinning on a regular basis – and many are even repeating the sins of their forefathers. Ezekiel 20:17-19: Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness. But I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their judgments, nor defile yourselves with their idols: I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them. As Christians Jesus Christ forgives our sins; but still many Christians are being (strongly) enticed by evil spirits to re-commit them. Most have tried not to sin but have been unsuccessful. Due to their repeated sin many Christians are in bondage to evil spirits. Their spiritual walk is slowly being destroyed. Amos 2:4: Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the Lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked. I Corinthians 10:6: Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. Unclean things in Christian homes have been a strong spiritual link to our own repetition of generational sin. Having unclean items allows evil spiritual doorways into our homes, and Satan uses these doorways to allure us to commit sin(s). Again, many of the same sins our ancestors committed! If we allow Satan to allure us it will lead to repeated sin – and if the sin continues, it will lead to bondage in our mind and our life. James 1:15-16: Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Continuing to do certain things after salvation, or to have certain items, is the spiritual crack in the door that Satan needs to create an evil foothold in our life. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior He forgives us and sets us free from bondage to sin, but it is the truth we know about God’s Word that teaches us how to continue to walk in His freedom. John 17:17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. God’s Word reveals to us what we may be doing that is allowing us to continually fall for Satan’s evil enticement – enticement that is leading more and more Christians into bondage. Christians must learn how to stand against the wiles of Satan. We must learn and obey God’s Word, and we must stay away from Satan’s domain. Ephesians 6:10-18: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

If you feel that you are in bondage to a spirit of narcissism or homosexuality, please say the following prayers:
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (the true Messiah), I ask forgiveness for all my sins including the sin of narcissism (vanity) and/or homosexuality. I ask that you would deliver me completely from any visitation (by evil spirits or the evil familiar spirits) associated with narcissism or homosexuality – this includes the evil spirits incubus and succubus. I repent for repeating the same generational pattern of sin as my forefathers. I understand that my sinful actions have allowed me to be reconnected to a generational pattern of sin – and I ask forgiveness. Through my own actions (and/or décor) I have repeated and reconnected the same sinful pattern as my forefathers. I have unknowingly encouraged (and invited) evil spirits to continue to visit my generation(s) – just as they visited and enticed past generations in my family. I ask forgiveness for my actions, and I ask you to stop all evil visitations. Please forgive me for having items (décor) in my home which re-opened evil doorways, and reconnected me to the past. Deuteronomy 7:26: Neither shalt thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shall utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. I ask you Lord Jesus to remove this sin from my life and I will also remove any, and all, items from my home that have opened the door to this evil visitation. Please forgive me and cleanse my life and my home.
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and by the power of the Holy Spirit I ask that you would destroy every evil assignment against my generation(s). I command every evil spirit and every evil familiar spirit assigned by Satan to be removed from my life, and my family (all present and future members). I apply the blood of Jesus Christ to my life and the lives of my family members. I ask that all evil assignments against my generation and my future generations would be cancelled from this day forward. By faith in Jesus Christ I believe you have heard and answered my prayer! Amen.
