Jehovah's Witness false belief that Michael is Jesus



How can Michael, an arch angel, be Jesus (as the Jehovah Witnesses believe and teach) when scripture is clear that God did not at any time call angels his sons or tell them to sit at his right hand!  Even the Jehovah Witnesses own bible says did he ever say or has he ever said!

Hebrews 1:5-6 (King James Version):  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.   

Hebrews 1:5-6:  For example, to which one of the angels did he ever say: “You are my son; I, today, I have become your father”? And again: “I myself shall become his father, and he himself will become my son”?  But when he again brings his Firstborn into the inhabited earth, he says: “And let all God’s angels do obeisance to him.”  (Jehovah Witness Bible or New World Translation)

Hebrews 1:13 (King James Version):  But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Hebrews 1:13: But with reference to which one of the angels has he ever said: “Sit at my right hand, until I place your enemies as a stool for your feet”? (Jehovah Witness Bible or New World Translation)

 
What about Hebrews 1:6 (King James Version):  And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.  This scripture says the angels worshipped the first begotten.  Nowhere in scripture does it tell us that angels worship angels.  The first begotten Son of God could not be Michael the arch angel!

 
And what about Hebrews 1:7-8  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.   In these two verses it separates the Son from the angels.  In verse 7 his angels are only called spirits.  But in Hebrews 1:8 it says the Son is given the throne.  Angels are not revered as God and given a throne at God’s right hand.  Only Jesus Christ the true Messiah has that honor!

Jehovah’s Witness do not believe that Jesus Christ came down from heaven they believe He began (or was created) at his earthly birth – but Jesus was not created.  He has always been.  Their argument is that they believe Jesus is actually Michael the arch angel who turned into (or was created as Jesus) at Jesus’ birth.  But, again how can Michael (an arch angel) be Jesus as the Jehovah Witnesses believe when the scriptures are clear.  God did not at any time call angels his sons or tell them to sit at his right hand!  Hebrews 1:5, 13:  For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?  And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?  But to which of the angels said he at any time, sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

Jehovah’s Witness also believe they have the ability to be a god.  That is why their Bible (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures) says in John 1:1:  “In [the] beginning the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god”.  Instead of as the true Bible says in John 1:1 (King James Version):  IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Why would people fall for the deception of the Jehovah’s Witness or any other false religion?  Because they do not know what God’s Word says about Jesus being part of the Godhead (Trinity).  Acts 17:29-30:  Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.  Colossians 2:8-9:  Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.  For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  Romans 1:20-32:  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.  Confusion over the Godhead is why people believe the lies of false religion.  False belief about the Godhead is exactly how cults get started!
