Frog statues/amulets
As with all God’s other living creatures the frog is not of itself evil. It is our man-made replicas (or re-creations) of God’s original creations that are tainted. Frog statues and amulets are popular today, even among Christians, but let’s see what the Bible says about the frog’s likeness. Revelation 16:13-14: And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God almighty. It has been my experience that people who possess frog statues have a hard time with lying, cursing, and with taming their tongue. In New-Age false religion the frog supposedly has healing properties. It has also been my experience that people having frog statues and amulets in their home are more likely to develop sickness – having this pagan image is not a cure, but a cause. The ancient Egyptians worshipped a frog god which they called “heket”. See Egyptian history.
