More than ever before God’s people must take a stand against the lust of the flesh that is running rampant in our society. We are seeing so much nakedness and promiscuity that we have become desensitized to it. People commit sexual sin (i.e. fornication, adultery, and homosexuality) daily – thinking they have done no wrong. Sexual sin is being promoted through media and commercialization to young and old alike. Lust and perversion grow worse yet become more acceptable. But, look what scripture has to say about following a sinful lifestyle. I Corinthians 6:9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. The Greek word for ‘abusers’ in I Corinthians 6:9 is “arsenokoites, ar-sen-ok-oy’-tace; …a sodomite… abuser of (that defile) self with mankind”. Isaiah 3:9: The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.
We, as a people and a nation, are becoming more like Sodom and Gomorrah with each passing day. Proverbs 14:34: Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. God wants righteousness to exalt our nation and is looking for people who will stand in the gap of repentance so that our nation will not suffer the same vengeance of eternal fire as Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude 7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. The Greek word for ‘strange’ in Jude verse 7 is heteros, het’-er-os; meaning altered. When you alter your body you change or modify the way God has created you. I say this with sorrow of heart, but Christian tradition is partially to blame for the sexual sin we see today. You may wonder how the sexual sin others commit could be attributed to Christian tradition, especially when Christians are not committing sexual sin – or are we? This is exactly what we will find out. I will share a section of scripture with you from Romans 1:21-32 concerning the sin of homosexuality; showing you that because God’s people changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into a fleshly looking images God gave them up to the lust of their own imagination. Their foolish hearts became darkened and they dishonored themselves with their own flesh, men with men, and women with women. Romans 1:20-27: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. Leviticus 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, and with womankind: it is abomination.
The Bible is very clear on its stand against homosexuality and other sexual sin; however, it is the spiritual root of sexual sin that God wants us to recognize. For this reason I speak to God’s people about their ‘religious pornography’. We see it everywhere, yet it is virtually unnoticed by many. Because of its Biblical theme people do not consider it to be pornographic material. I am talking about the nakedness in so-called religious pictures and decorations. No matter what label the religious world places on it – it is still pornography, and many Christians have brought it into their homes. Most Christians agree that it is wrong for the world to have naked pictures, especially around children; yet many Christians have nakedness openly displayed in their homes under a supposedly religious guise. All naked material is pornographic, and is a sin, no matter who has it, or what they name it. What makes it worse is that Christians are supposed to know better, and should be setting a Godly example for the world. Instead, many Christians sit back and condemn people in the world for having the same sinful things that they have.
As a Christian myself I speak not only against blatant pornography – pictures, movies, magazines, computers, etc – but against the nakedness that has been given a religious theme. Religious pornographic material has been on display in Christian homes, churches, and in our Christian bookstores for everyone to see. Sinful seeds of nakedness have been planted in the eyes of Christians, many of them since childhood, due to a parental lack of knowledge. Many Christian parents openly display sinful seeds of nakedness throughout their home with religious portraits and decorations. Be assured that this is one reason many of their children are caught in the sinful trap of viewing ‘blatant pornography’ later in life. Luke 11:34-35: The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. In the ‘traditional’ Christian world nakedness and pornography are disguised and marketed as so-called ‘holy and religious, but…Job 14:4: Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
There are naked paintings that appear to depict Christianity, and many people are deceived into believing these pictures to be ‘holy’. But, there is nothing holy about portraying nakedness! One example is the famous painting by Michelangelo of the finger of a man touching the finger of God; whom many reverence as ‘holy’. Have you ever seen the entire picture? On one half of the picture there is a man reclining totally naked with his genitals laid over on one leg, reaching up with his finger supposedly touching the finger of God. The half that is supposed to portray God is not even scriptural. God is a Spirit and cannot be portrayed. John 4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 5:37: And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath born witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. Exodus 33:20, 23: And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. I John 4:12: No man hath seen God at any time… Michelangelo’s picture shows two adult men. One man is reclined and is totally naked; while the other is supposed to portray God (whom scripture says no man has seen). The one who supposedly represents God is lying over the top of naked children and one has their buttocks exposed. This is an abomination! The fact is that scripture tells us exposing someone’s buttocks is a sign of shame. Isaiah 20:4: So shall the king of Azzyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Etheopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. Common sense alone should tell us that something is wrong with this picture. Displaying nakedness is wrong in itself, but anyone who attempts to portray God, Jesus Christ, or an angel(including what they call naked baby angels) is not being inspired by God. This is spiritual deception, and seduction.
Many religious pictures or paintings depict people barely having their private parts covered, while some do not have anything covered, and several look as if they are lusting after each other with homosexual desire. This may seem harsh but it is the truth. Within the pages of some Bibles there are pictures of people who are partially nude; either having their entire backsides showing, or their private parts barely covered. The original text of the Bible did not include these naked pictures! Men, inspired by God, wrote God’s Word, and it was compiled under the same inspiration from God into what we refer to as the Holy Bible – but God did not inspire the naked or almost naked pictures that have been inserted within the pages of some Bibles. The inspiration behind these fleshly pictures is man’s lustful imagination, while under direction from evil and seducing spirits of perversion. Psalm 101:3: I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. Evidence of the evil inspiration behind so-called religious paintings and statues can be found within the images themselves. One example: the painting referred to as the ‘Last Supper’. When looking at this picture any Christian should see that something is distorted. Some of the men in Davinci’s Last Supper look feminine! Despite this, Christians still believe Davinci’s so-called religious painting to be inspired by God and do not even question it. Some believe it contains secret codes from God. They falsely believe that God is showing them some spiritually secret code from within the painting. The problem is the code or message they are receiving does not line up with God’s Word, and is a direct attack against God’s Son Jesus Christ. In Davinci’s painting of the ‘Last Supper’ the man sitting next to what is supposed to be Jesus looks very feminine (as do many of these fleshly spiritual portraits), but because the man looks feminine many have thought that Davinci was secretly painting Mary Magdalene. This type of thing is leading many to believe the perverse lie that Mary Magdalene and Jesus were supposedly married and had children together. Proverbs 15:4: A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perversness therein is a breach in the spirit. The mythological kings of the Holy Grail are supposed to have been the children of Jesus and Mary Magdalene – which is blasphemy! JESUS CHRIST CAME TO THIS EARTH ONLY TO PLEASE THE FATHER. John 8:29: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. I Corinthians 7:32: But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord. JESUS CHRIST DID NOT MARRY! Jesus Christ never had sexual relations with Mary Magdalene, or any one else for that matter, because Jesus Christ was never married. Some may try and say that perhaps Jesus had a sexual relation with her outside of marriage, but that is fornication. I Corinthians 6:9-10: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ was, and is, without sin – and this includes the sin of fornication! Hebrews 4:15: For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
In the Holy Grail writings people are eagerly searching for a ‘chalice’ that Jesus supposedly drank from in the last supper. The Holy Grail myth is teaching people to chase after a cup of lies. People are following a mythological story when they should be following, and pursing, Jesus Christ the true Word. The mythological story of the Holy Grail is the biggest abomination that has ever been told, yet, many believe it to be holy! Some are even saying that the chalice (cup) supposedly represents Mary’s womb. In some churches they use a chalice as their communion cup. They all share this chalice as if it were sacred. They show more reverence for their cup than they do for God’s Son Jesus Christ. Many believe the Holy Grail to be spiritual; however, the Holy Grail is a lie – and the same evil and lying spirits are behind the false painting of the Lord’s Supper (and many of the other so-called religious paintings). These so-called religious paintings are causing many people to be led astray. They do not understand that God never inspired these pictures. Their inspiration is evil. The evil inspiration behind the Holy Grail myth is also where children’s fairy tales came from. Many Christians have tried to excuse having naked and so-called religious pictures by saying; Adam and Eve were naked. Yes they were naked before the fall, but after the fall sin entered into the world and they knew they were naked and covered their nakedness. (An example we all need to follow.) Genesis 2:25: And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. After the fall the Bible says in Genesis 3:7, 21: And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. When Adam and Eve walked the earth naked, before the fall, there were not sinners walking around with them. Since the fall, sin has entered into the world and people cannot walk around naked. We deceive ourselves if we think we are not affected by nakedness. All people are affected by nakedness, including Christians – and their naked pictures with a religious theme have both a negative physical and negative spiritual affect on all who possess them. It is not just the pictures and paintings, but the statues and images with the private parts sculpted to precise detail. Ezekiel 16:17: Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them.
As Christians we must understand that before we point a finger at the world we had better open our own eyes to what we are doing. Maybe the reason people do not want to become Christians is because they see no difference between us and the world. We need to pull the two by four out of our own eye before we can pull the toothpick out of a neighbor or brother’s eye. Matthew 7:3-5: And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thy own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. God’s people need to love and care about the people who are not yet saved; but before we can help them we need to get the sinful things out of our lives, and our homes – and out of God’s churches. We cannot win the lost for the Lord by trying to mix God’s Word with nakedness. Instead of transforming the world through God’s Word we have conformed to the ways of the world through our so-called religious (and naked) statues and pictures. Romans 12:2: And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. How can we, as Christians, share the truth of God’s Word with a lost world when we ourselves do not even have true knowledge of His Word? The church has not portrayed to the world a Godly and Biblical lifestyle. We have portrayed to the world their own lifestyle. We tell them that nakedness is wrong if they have it, but we tell them it is holy if we have it! Something is wrong with our method, and the world knows it. So who are the ones that are in the dark? Luke 6:39: And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? Shall they not both fall into the ditch? Isaiah 42:18-20: Hear, ye deaf, and look, ye blind, that ye may see. Who is blind, but my servant? Or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. Nakedness and pornography are bad enough, but when Christians paint naked pictures and say God inspired them it is an abomination. We, as Christians, must stop following our fleshly minds, because we are in worse shape than the world!
Christianity has so-called holy paintings supposedly painted under the inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit, but these paintings do not line up with scripture. For instance, the famous Sistine chapel. It was supposedly painted under the inspiration of God’s Holy Spirit. But, why would the Spirit of God inspire Michelangelo to paint anything that did not go along with God’s Own Word? An example being the image of what Michelangelo called a Cherub. His paintings do not even match the Biblical description of a Cherub/Cherubim. The naked and highly revered paintings and statues in the Sistine Chapel are not Biblical. These paintings and others like them are nothing more than a spiritual root of perversion, homosexuality, and even child molestation. Note: Many who practice the sin of homosexuality are drawn to paintings and statues by Michelangelo, and also Davinci. These paintings and statues make them feel they are not sinning with their naked and homosexual lifestyles. On the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel we find the famous portrait (in its entirety with genitals exposed) of the finger of man touching what is supposed to represent the finger of God; while on this same ceiling there are naked infants (supposed cherubs) flying about. Lying under what is supposedly God there are naked but older children, and one has his bare bottom exposed. If a person possessed these paintings or pictures in their home without the supposed religious theme they would be considered a child predator or pedophile. Religious theme or not these paintings are pornographic and they depict the same sexual sin that is running rampant in the world today – and in the Roman Catholic Church. However; it is not only the Roman Catholic Church, but also our protestant churches – both of which display some of the same décor.
The Protestant movement as a whole was supposed to have come apart from the Roman Catholic Church, yet many Protestants still have some of the same religious decoration (pictures and statues). Many Protestant believers may think we have come apart from the Roman Catholic Church; however, we traditionally reverence and display their same statues and images in our churches (and our homes) – referring to them as Jesus, saints, and angels. We even have nativity statues which include a statue of Mary. The protestant movement may have separated itself from the Roman Catholic Church, but it has not been a total separation. II Corinthians 6:16-17: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. I John 5:21: Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. I Chronicles 16:26 and Psalm 96:5: For all the gods of the people are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.
Homosexuality and child molestation are running rampant throughout Roman Catholic Church and their paintings tell the story. They portray bare bottomed winged infants and a man with his genitals exposed. I do not have to spell it out. The obelisk [phallus] at the Vatican, standing in the center of St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, is a sexual link to their homosexual sin. Seeing that religious images and decorations have been around for centuries you may wonder how they could have so much to do with the sexual sin our world is facing now. Ecclesiastes 1:9-10: The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done, and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? It hath been already of old time, which was before us. Idolatry is not new. It has been a problem since the beginning of time. However, in these last days idolatry has become more spiritually deceptive than ever, given its religious title and position in the church. Idolatry is growing in magnitude, now covering a much larger scale. Let us use this example: If someone started a small fire and never put it out, or they tried to cover it up, it would just grow larger and cover more ground. Like this fire, the original sin(s) that started long ago is the same sin that we are seeing in the world today, but it has grown much larger and is becoming more intense. Trying to just cover up a fire is impossible, it must be put out. Like trying to cover a fire, trying to cover up an idol with religious looking clothing is causing Christians to get burnt. Today we are being visited by the evil that is behind our deceptive religious decoration. We are being visited by the iniquity of our ancestors through religious tradition! By following their religious traditions we have taken part in the sinful and sexual fire that is plaguing our world. We have taught others to sin through our traditions. Though our forefathers went through trials and were still able to overcome (despite their religious decoration) we will not be able to do the same in these last days if we continue with their false religious traditions. Our forefathers have never experienced the level of evil that we are seeing in these last days. II Timothy 3:1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. An increase in evil is consuming this generation. Sin is everywhere – including the sin of fornication, adultery, and homosexuality – and these sins are connected to idolatry. We must be the generation of Christians that say enough is enough. We must throw out our traditional methods and our traditional religious décor. We must stop allowing Satan’s evil into our homes. Whether the nakedness and sin is coming into our home through false religious décor; or through television, books, and computers, the same unclean spirits of perversion are behind them all. Satan is just waiting for us to look at nakedness the first time hoping that he can get us to look a second time, and then he knows he has us hooked. Psalm 101:3: I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. Sin leads to more sin until finally it destroys us. James 1:14-16: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. I Peter 2:11: Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. The Hebrew word for ‘soul’ in the Old Testament is “nephesh, neh’-fesh; …sense… appetite… breath… desire… greedy… heart… life… lust… mind… pleasure… will”. The Greek word for ‘soul’ in the New Testament is “psuche, psoo-khay’; …breath… heart… mind”. The Greek terms “exactly correspond respectively” to the Hebrew.
Everywhere we look today we see some form of nakedness and are not intentionally looking for it. However, when a Christian repeatedly and willfully looks and does not turn his/her head they are making a great mistake. Proverbs 28:18: Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. We must pray daily for God to cover our eyes and protect us from temptation. In this world nakedness and sin are all around, yet many Christians will be surprised to learn that the most dangerous form can be found in their own homes. The greatest deception in the Christian world today is that Satan has enticed us to display nakedness in our home that has a religious theme, and then has convinced us that it is not really pornography but is clean. Job 14:4: Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one.
Satan and his evil spirits will begin to plant seeds of sin in our eyes just by getting us to look at nakedness one time. If you do not believe this then read about Noah’s son Ham? The Bible tells us Ham looked at his father’s nakedness – then he went and told his brothers what he did, as if he were was proud of it. Ham disobeyed God’s Word. Leviticus 18:7: The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness. Read all of Leviticus Chapter 18 for more insight on the sin of uncovering one’s nakedness, especially a family member’s! Ham opened his eyes to sin, and to the lust of the flesh – then went out without covering his father’s nakedness. And what Ham did even affected his own son Canaan! Genesis 9:18-25: And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread. And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. The name ‘Canaan’ in Genesis 9:25 means both the son of Ham, and the country. In Genesis 9:25 the Hebrew word ‘Canaan’ is “kenaan, ken-ah’-an; humiliated; Kenaan, a son of Ham; also the country inhabited by him”. Extra note: Genesis 9:18-25 is also a perfect example of how bad things can, and do, happen to a person while in a drunken state. Genesis 19:32-38 is another example. If you study Bible history you will find that Canaan inhabited the country which shared his name. To confirm this see the Hebrew translation of the word ‘Canaan’, quoted in the previous paragraph. Canaan and his descendents possessed the Canaanite cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Because of what Ham did to his father some in his future generations (those living in Sodom and Gomorrah) became so evil that God destroyed them. Genesis 19:24-25: Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground. With just one look at his father’s nakedness Ham allowed spiritually evil seeds to be planted in his eyes and his mind which started a chain re-action of sin that eventually led to the destruction of his descendants living in Sodom and Gomorrah. Leviticus 18:7: The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover…Genesis 9:22: And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father… Since Ham and his father were of the same gender, what Ham allowed into his eyes and his mind blossomed into homosexuality and incest in his latter generations. One sinful look gave Satan the spiritual right (permission) to entice and lure Canaan’s future generations (the inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah) into the sinful practice of homosexuality. They were visited and seduced by the same evil spirits that enticed Ham to sin – and like Ham they fell for it. According to Bible history Ham’s descendents were involved in Baal worship, and their male pagan images were just the connection that Satan needed to visit them with the iniquity of their forefathers – Ham and Canaan. Idolatry and iniquity do go hand in hand. I Samuel 15:23: For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Both Exodus 20:5 and Deuteronomy 5:9 say that because of idolatry children are visited with the iniquity of their forefathers to 3 or 4 generations. Dependent on how many generations continue to follow the same pattern of sin – or to have unclean pagan images (which is a sin) – the chain of evil visitation can continue for many many generations. The Hebrew word for ‘iniquity’ in Exodus 20:5 and Deuteronomy 5:9 is “avon, aw-vone’; or avown; perversity, i.e. (moral) evil… mischief, punishment (of iniquity), sin”. Baal images and statues are the first male pagan deities (idols) mentioned in the Bible and these images were worshipped with all manner of perverted sexual acts. Baal images are mentioned many times in the Bible in Exodus, Joshua, Judges, II Samuel, I kings, Numbers, Ezekiel, to name a few. The word ‘Baal’ means ‘lord’; but it means a perverted pagan lord! The names of the original Baal images kept changing throughout history. They are now being referred to as Jesus and saints – what an abomination!
Whether Christians want to admit it or not religious pornography, and idolatry, has played a major role in the sexual lust that is running rampant in our world today. Our very own religious tradition has kept us in bondage to adultery, fornication, and homosexuality. It is my prayer that through this book God is opening your eyes.
