Scripture tells us that at death our bodies are to return to the ground (including animals). This includes our bones! Displaying, or wearing bones is not what scripture tells us we should be doing. God wants bones buried…not displayed…even wearing pictures (this includes drawings) of bones is not following scriptural example. Death and its symbols are to be buried…not used as adornment. God even uses dead men’s bones in scripture to describe how unclean the Pharisees were! Dead men’s bones are not something to be desired.
Matthew 23:27: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
BONES (All bones are to return to the ground) Genesis 2:19: And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. Ecclesiastes 3: 19-20: For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Genesis 3:19: In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it was thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Psalm 146:4: His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
