New-Age movement
Simply stated, New-age false religion symbolizes every false religion rolled up into one ball. In fact, one of the many New-age symbols is a crystal that looks like a ball, or more precisely a disco-ball. Any person who practices New-age false religion can take whatever false religious practice they choose; leaving out whatever part they do not want, or adding anything they do want. Basically, they believe that any type or mixture of any religion is alright! New-age is a pantheistic religion that also believes and practices nature worship. Romans 1:25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. The Greek word for ‘creature’ in Romans 1:25 is “ktisis, ktis’-is; …creation, creature”. Hebrews 11:3: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. The New Living Translation reads: By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen. Nature did not create itself – and nature is not to be worshipped! “Generally the New Age borrows its theology from pantheistic Eastern religions and its practices from 19th century Western occultism”. Quotation from Watchman Fellowship’s 2001 Index of Cults and Religions. Pantheism is the belief in all deities.
