Homosexuality (you were not born that way)

This is not a message of condemnation, but a message of conviction.
 
 
Jude 7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.  The Greek word for ‘strange’ in Jude verse 7 is “heteros, het’-er-os; …altered”.  When you "alter" your body you change or modify the way God has created you.  Many today are altering their body through gender reassignment because they have listened to the lying thoughts that Satan has put in their mind, even as a young child, telling them that they were born that way.  God's Word tells us we were born in His image and for His pleasure - he tells us he created us male and female and God makes no mistakes.  To believe otherwise goes against everything that God has created us to be. 

Many people think they can do whatever pleases them, and most will say; it is my body I can do what I want with it. BUT we were created for God’s pleasure.  Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.  It does not please God when we abuse or change the body He has created.  Genesis 1:26, 27: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  Romans 6:12-13: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.  Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.  I Thessalonians 4:4, 7: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.  I Corinthians 6:19-20: What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.   I Corinthians 6:9: Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.  Believe it or not this is the scripture that one website used to try and validate homosexuality.  NO scripture validates homosexuality. Just the opposite, it proves homosexuality is a sin! The website emphasized the meaning of abusers of self with mankind and said in the Greek they did not believe it meant homosexuality.  However, the Greek word for ‘abusers’ in I Corinthians 6:9 is “arsenokoites, ar-sen-ok-oy’-tace; …a sodomite… abuser of (that defile) self with mankind”.  The Hebrew word for ‘sodomite’ is “qadesh, kaw-dashe” which means “a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: sodomite, unclean”.  Besides, we all know that Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed due to their homosexual practices which they even wanted to practice with the angels (whom they thought were men) who came to rescue Lot and his family, but the angels blinded them in Genesis Chapter 19!  Also, the website did not emphasize the Greek meaning of the word effeminate as stated in scripture.  The word effeminate in the Greek means a catamite, and the dictionary defines it as a homosexual male.  The Greek word for ‘effeminate’ in I Corinthians 6:9 is “alakos; fig. a catamite, effeminate, soft”.  A homosexual male will not inherit the kingdom of God and this applies to female homosexuals also because God is no respecter of persons.  (More proof that God comdemns the practice of homosexuality is in Romans 1:26-27, which we will be reading in my next paragraph) In Jude verse 7 it talks about strange flesh. The word strange in the Greek means altered. Jude 7: Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.  The Greek word for ‘strange’ in Jude verse 7 is “heteros, het’-er-os; …altered”.  Whenever someone tries to alter who they are...whether they physically do it or mentally believe it...they are changing who God created them to be.  They are under the category of strange flesh.  Whoever wrote that website is putting themselves in the category of the righteous.  They are deceived and are trying to deceive others.  There is NO such thing mentioned in the Bible about righteous homosexuality.  The website was even trying to alter scripture when scripture shows that the practice of homosexuality is a lust of ones own heart!  Romans 1:20-32:  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man  (like our false pictures of Jesus today), and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed for ever.  Amen.  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:  for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same but have pleasure in them that do them.  Men with men, and women with women, in a sexual relationship is a lust of one's own heart; and God does not approve of its practice! 
      
In the following portion of scripture God warns His people through Moses against every sinful abomination.  Leviticus 18:1-30:  AND the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the Lord your God.  After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do:  and after the doings of the land Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do:  neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.  Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein:  I am the Lord your God.  Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments:  which if a man do, he shall live in them:  I am the Lord.  None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness:  I am the Lord.  The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover:  she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.  The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover:  it is thy father’s nakedness.  The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.  The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover:  for their’s is thine own nakedness.  The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister:  she is thy father’s sister:  she is thy father’s near kinswoman.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister:  for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife:  she is thine aunt.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law:  she is thy son’s wife, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife:  it is thy brother’s nakedness.  Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen:  it is wickedness.  Neither shalt thou take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.  Also thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.  Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour’s wife, to defile thyself with her.  And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God:  I am the Lord.  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, and with womankind:  it is abomination.  Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith:  neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto:  it is confusion.  Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things:  for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:  And the land is defiled:  therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.  Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:  (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, and it spued out the nations that were before you.  For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.  Therefore shall ye keep mine ordinance, that ye commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein:  I am the Lord your God. 

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14:  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:  Fear God, and keep his commandments:  for this is the whole duty of man.  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.  Jeremiah 23:24:  Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him?  saith the Lord.  Do not I fill heaven and earth?  saith the Lord.

Scriptural warning about homosexuality:
 
Leviticus 18:22:  Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13:  If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

You do not have to fall for Satan’s lies and deceptions any longer.  God can heal and restore you to be who He has created you to be through His Son Jesus Christ!  God never gives up on you...he loves you!  Jesus died for us all and took all our sins to the cross leaving them there - we need only to receive Him as our Savior!!!  John 3:16:  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
